PML-N & JI to contest AJK elections jointly: Nawaz

PML-N & JI to contest AJK elections jointly: NawazFormer Prime Minister and Quaid of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that federal government should end its interference in elections of Azad Kashmir, adding that Muslim League-N would participate in the election with the Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir.


This Mian Nawaz Sharif said during the meeting with Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Abdul Rashid Turabi, former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed and former MNA Main Aslam in Punjab House, who called on him to inquire his health after returning from Britain undergoing a heart surgery.

Abbottbad operation, current situation of the country and upcoming elections of Azad Kashmir were discussed in the meeting and Chief Minister Punjab Main Shahbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chadhury Nisar Ali Khan were present on the occasion.

Nawaz Sharif stressed on the formation of investigation commission about the Abbottabad incident, adding that country is facing tough challenges.

He said that he already directed PML-N Azad Kashmir leadership to participate in the elections with Jamaat-e-Islami, adding that it is need of the hour that all like-minded people should be in one row.

He said that both parties can become big power if they come together and it would affect the country politics.

Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that after the Abbottabad incident country is facing many problems and questions are taking birth about the security of the country.

He said that one view should be adopted about the Abbotabad incident and details of incidents should be brought in front of nation.
