Attique predicts MC landslide in AJK polls


MIRPUR (AJK) - AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has said that a landslide electoral victory of his Muslim Conference is keenly awaited by the people of Azad Jammu Kashmir as well as Pakistan-based Jammu & Kashmir refugees.“The MC will emerge as the single majority party in the scheduled June 26 AJK Legislative Assembly elections for 41 seats of the legislature and form the next government in AJK as well,” Attique said while addressing a mammoth gathering of the citizens of Mirpur held in connection with the election campaign of Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf the party’s candidate in the elections from Mirpur city LA-III here the other night.


The election meeting was also addressed among others by the party’s candidate Ch Muhammad Ashraf, MC leader and ex-chairman MDA Dr Amin Ch, AJK minister for population welfare Mrs Naheed Tariq and several other elders of various tribes and communities dwelling in the city.
Sardar Attique, also President of the ruling All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference, asked the citizens of Mirpur to get the city rid of the opportunist and vested interest representative in the assembly by electing the MC candidate and the well reputed personality of the area Ch Muhammad Ashraf in the scheduled June 26 AJK elections from Mirpur city LA-III constituency with a thumping majority.

Attique said that Muslim Conference has tremendous role for the speedy development and uplift of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. He said that his Muslim Conference would attain landslide victory in the scheduled assembly elections in spite of internal and external conspiracies against this decades old popular political force of the Jammu & Kashmir state. He said that MC is the organization of martyrs, ghazis and majuideen. He said that those waving conspiracies against the Muslim Conference would suffer a convincing defeat and the logical end of their negative deeds.
